The Pirelli Scorpion Enduro S MTB folding tire offers excellent grip on mixed surfaces with maximum puncture resistance. The lug height and their spacing have been perfectly matched to the specially developed SmartGRIP Gravity rubber compound.

The tread consists of high and widely spaced lugs that guarantee excellent penetration into the ground and increased mechanical grip. This generates a unique response, a precise feeling for traction and braking, as well as excellent support when cornering. In turn, the wide spacing between the lugs helps the tire get rid of the mud and perform at all times.

To further increase the rolling characteristics and puncture resistance, the tire offers the possibility of tubeless operation.

SmartGRIP Gravity

This rubber compound was developed specifically for the high demands that modern bikes and tracks bring with them. Higher speeds and more powerful MTB’s require a softer damping behavior and better feedback. The innovative feature is the use of lignin. This chemical substance has a natural origin which comes from the waste paper recovery process. It is an additive with low environmental impact capable of improving the mechanical properties of the tire and providing maximum tear resistance.

The result is a version of SmartGRIP that offers superior performance, grip and handling on both wet and dry surfaces.

ProWALL

This is a protective sidewall reinforcement technology for improved puncture protection and optimized handling, even at low tire pressure. An additional layer of nylon fabric over the sidewalls of the carcass provides additional safety and improved cornering stability.

Note: Tubeless Ready tires require tubeless compatible rims/wheels, tubeless valves, tubeless rim tape and sealing fluid for tubeless mounting. Sealant fluid is not required for tubeless UST tires, but is recommended for increased puncture protection. Installation should only be carried out by qualified personnel.
