Details of the Orbea Alma M20

Orbea Monocoque Race (OMR) frames combine high-modulus, high-strength carbon fiber with a standard layup to optimize the stiffness-to-weight ratio. The use of the so-called Bladder-Molding-process with EPS molds and polyurethane (PU) inserts on the head tube and bottom bracket avoids wrinkles and bumps in critical areas of the frame. At the same time, carbon can be saved without compromising the strength of the frame.

– With the unique design of OC steering head, spacer and stem Orbea has given its cross-country family a completely new, integrated look. The interaction of the OC components completes the high-end claim of this modern cross-country bike.

Headset – The Acros Blocklock 164º headset limits handlebar deflection, preventing damage to the frame. In close cooperation with Acros, the overall height was minimized and the system was integrated into the cockpit in the best possible way.

The cables are specifically guided through the inside of the frame so that nothing rubs or rattles. The cable routing is optimized for both mechanical and electronic circuits.
